Living with depression is not easy, there are good days and bad ones. I’m thankful for friends and family that accept, support and encourage me, and most importantly, be there for me even when they don’t understand. Having depression is not a terminal illness, it is a condition one has learn to live with, cope with and excel in life with, even if it requires a pill or cocktail of medications daily. I hope through my experience I can help others get through hard times, know that things will get better and it is okay to feel like absolute crap sometimes.
